SPiDCOM Technologies' SPC300 chip is fully compliant with the HomePlug
AV standard.
It was designed by the same experienced team of engineers who developed
SPiDCOM Technologies' 224 Mbps powerline communication proprietary
solution.
SPiDCOM Technologies' HomePlug AV solution enables the instant set-up of
a multimedia home network based on the existing powerline infrastructure.
The applications include whole house High Definition and Standard Definition TV (IPTV), video on demand, digital audio, VoIP and online games.
Furthermore, the solution enables to convert the powerlines into the backbone for wireless devices (e.g Wi-Fi access points, devices with UWB and/or bluetooth ports...).
It is the ideal solution for Internet Service Providers now wishing to extend their Triple-Play services into their customers' homes.
